Diane Rutherford is an award-winning journalist who has been a general assignment reporter, anchor, producer and web site writer for more than 20 years.

Based at WWNY-TV, the CBS affiliate in Watertown, New York, Diane has received numerous awards from the New York State Associated Press, Syracuse Press Club, New York State Agricultural Society and the New York State Broadcasters Association.

Diane has a dual bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from Syracuse University, where she was named to the list of Top 10 Students at the Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Prior to working in television news, Diane was a newspaper and radio reporter.

In addition to her work with Suite 101, she is also a contributing writer for Absolutely Business magazine.
